1184: Michael Queensland

Sexual Assault, Sexual Battery, Sexual Harassment

Michael Queensland was Chief Clerk of the Wisconsin Senate. He also had worked for Republican Senator LeMahieu. He resigned after an internal investigation found a woman’s allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment credible. When LeMahieu announced Queensland’s resignation, he said Queensland denied the allegations.

1156: Kevin Tomafsky

Kevin Tomafsky is a former aide to former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Before that he spent eight years working on Republican campaigns. He also served in leadership of his county Republican club and worked for Assemblyman Tom Fiocchi.

He was arrested in August 2023 for allegedly paying to sexually abuse a child. The child’s father was also arrested but his name has been withheld to protect the child’s identity.

1118: Cole Wagner

Marty DeCole (Cole) Wagner is a former employee of the Alabama Department of Education. He was active in the Young Republicans. He also spent three years working for AL Governor Ainsworth. He is also the former Executive Director of the committee Alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama that proffered a constitutional amendment that said there was no right to abortion in Alabama. That amendment allowed for the immediate banning of abortion in Alabama. Cole spoke of the need to defend those who could not defend himself. In his now-deleted Twitter account he joked about Joe Biden’s “inappropriate hugs.”

1112: Stephanie Neipling

Child Rape

Stephanie Neipling was the Associate Director of External Relations at the University of Arkansas System. It is a position that had her working closely with minor children in the 4-H program. Before that, she was the Deputy Director of Constituent Services for Republican Governor Asa Hutchinson. In 2022, Hutchinson appointed her to the State Board of Embalmers.

In July 2023, she was arrested and booked for raping a 15-year-old boy.

1082: Larry Wilcoxson

Assault, Child Molestation, Grooming, Intimidation, Menacing, Solicitation of a Minor

His former fiancée filed a restraining order alleging violence. He denies it.

Another serious allegation was made in his home state of Indiana where he was alleged to have a student he taught at a middle school, either a sixth or seventh grader. The case was not pursued even though there were allegations from several people and despite his being fired for exposing himself to a custodian. Later a thirteen-year-old girl claimed he molested her and gave her a nude photo of himself. She showed it to several classmates. The case was dismissed because the judge excluded one of the essential witnesses.

967: Nick Provenzano

Child Indecency

Nick Provenzano was Deputy District Director for Illinois Republican Congressman Randy Hultgren until he was fired after being arrested for criminal sexual assault with a minor, a 17-year-old boy whom he met on Grindr. The boy said he told Hultgren he was seventeen, but Hultgren claimed the boy said he was 18 and that this was a consensual sexual encounter. Politico has the entire police report here. No charges were filed.

746: Carter Clinton Ballman

Carter Clinton Ballman was a Republican legislative aide in Missouri. He worked several years for Republican Rep. Mark Matthiesen. He was fired shortly after he was arrested in an undercover sting with a police officer pretending to be a 14-year-old girl. Child Endangerment, Familial Abuse & Violence

Daniel Gai was an aide for Fresno Republican City Councilmember Garry Bredefeld. He resigned after pleading no contest to five felony domestic violence charges. He admitted to one count of committing corporal injury on spouse or cohabitant, three counts of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and one count of child endangerment.
