
Stephanie Neipling was the Associate Director of External Relations at the University of Arkansas System. It is a position that had her working closely with minor children in the 4-H program. Before that, she was the Deputy Director of Constituent Services for Republican Governor Asa Hutchinson. In 2022, Hutchinson appointed her to the State Board of Embalmers.
In July 2023, she was arrested and booked for raping a 15-year-old boy. They were both at a residence in Rogers at the same time and were sitting on the couch watching TV and engaged in sexual conduct. He left, she messaged him she was alone and invited him to come to her friend’s apartment where they engaged in sexual conduct again. She contacted him through SnapChat and sent him videos the next day.
While she initially denied this, she later admitted both sexual conduct and sending nude images to police. She pleaded Not Guilty. He husband filed for divorce the day after her arrest.
