1455: Joseph Walker

Joseph Brent Walker is a former journalist at LDS church-owned Deseret News and his column ValueSpeak that examined issues in the news through the lens of conservative values was syndicated to at least thirty papers as well as online publications. He previously worked as a public affairs employee for the LDS church and was a Mormon bishop. At the time of his arrest, he was working as a communications director for the Utah Dept. of Transportation. He has been charged with soliciting a minor and sending explicit material to a minor.

1454: Scott Soucek

Scott Soucek is a MAGA activist who campaigned for Trump saying he was voting for Trump because he would fight child trafficking. His wife was a Republican convention delegate and the chair of the Door County Republican Party.

On his Facebook feed, he wrote “I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.” That is strange since he had already caught downloading child sexual abuse material in 2009. For some reason, that case was never prosecuted.

1453: Ron Weinberg

Ron Weinberg is a state representative in Colorado. He was appointed to his seat when Rep. Hugh McKean died. He is also the former chair of the Larimer County GOP. He was seeking the minority whip position in the Republican House caucus, but stepped back after complaints about his past behavior toward women when he was Larimer County Chair.

1451: Dayton Aldrich

Dayton Robert Aldrich once worked at the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office before taking a job with the City of Santa Barbara as a community development specialist. He has sought a position on the Santa Barbara City Council and was the president of Winchester Canyon Gun Club. In August he was arrested on several charges, including possession of cocaine; possession of assault weapons; possession of extended-capacity magazines; and the possession, manufacture, and distribution of child sexual abuse material. He has pleaded not guilty.

1450: Stewart Ruch

Stewart Ruch is a bishop in the Anglican Church of North America, the schismatic group that left the Episcopal Church in opposition to its “liberalism” in allowing the ordination of women, inclusion of LGBTIQA members, and gay marriage. He is facing an ecclesiastical (church) trial over allegations that he covered up serial sexual abuse of children.

1449: Gregg Hayden

Gregg Hayden is a retired lieutenant at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. He was also the School Safety and Security Supervisor for Anderson School District Five. He was appointed to the Anderson County School District One Board in where he served from April to August, 2025, when he resigned after his arrest for criminal sexual conduct with minors. He also resigned from his position at Anderson Five.

1448: Hector Carranza

Hector Carranza was a Gresham, Oregon, police officer. He was placed on administrative leave in November 2024 after a complaint that accused him of criminal conduct. The City asked for an outside investigation which resulted in Carranza’s arrest in July. He resigned in September. There were 56 separate charges against him including 1 of 3rd-degree rape, 12 counts of 3rd-degree sodomy, 24 counts of 2nd-degree sex abuse, 5 counts of using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct, 5 counts of encouraging child sexual abuse, 5 counts of luring a minor, and 1 count of attempting to use a child in display of sexually explicit conduct.

1447: Ami Medlin

Ami Medlin was a teacher at Corinth Holders High School in Wendell, North Carolina. Together with her husband, she groomed and pursued inappropriate relationships with students. Initially, the couple was charged with indecent liberties with a student, first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual servitude.
