VIRGINIA- Sexual Battery
WAVY news reported back in 2021 that a Norfolk man previously arrested in connection with the breach and riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was accused of sexually assaulting a child.
Kene Brian Lazo, of Norfolk, Virginia was in the mob of Donald Trump supporters who attacked the police and breached the Capitol to try to prevent Congress from certifying Joe Biden‘s victory in the November 2020 presidential election
Lazo was arrested and accused of several charges including:
– contributing to the delinquency of a child under the age of 13
– aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13
– intercourse by force, threat or intimidation
– forcible sodomy by force, threat, or of an incapacitated or physically helpless person over the age of 13
– two counts of simple assault.
Police say the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on August 22, 2025.
Documents indicate the victim is known to Lazo. He was booked at the Norfolk City Jail and is being held without bond.
Lazo’s attorney Ubong Akpan, of the federal public defender’s office, said that the abuse case had either been resolved or was close to resolving. The case was filed in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and information about it is not available to us.

Unfortunately, we cannot pull court documents for the sex crimes committed by GOP Predator #1,563 because apparently it was handled in juvenile court.
Yet another persistent human predator. These people never change. They can’t be “treated”. Lock them up permanently to keep the community safe.
