1316: Luke Cunningham

Luke Cunningham served as youth pastor at Turning Point Community Church in Lubbock, Texas, and, more recently, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas. That is where he was working when he was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a minor. Lakeside’s pastor contacted his previous employers to let them know he was being investigated and had been arrested. He was terminated.

1315: Thomas Deane

Thomas Louis Deane was a History/Social Studies teacher and lacrosse coach at Canterbury School, a private school in Ft. Myers, Florida. In February, 2022, a woman reported her son was the victim of a sex crime.

Police investigated and found evidence showing Deane had found the minor on Grindr and then communicating on SnapChat, arranged to meet the child in person. He was arrested in April, 2022, and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim under the age of 16 and a second charge of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim between the ages of 12 and 16. A month later, he was rearrested, charged with 28 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.

1313: Robert Morris

Robert Morris was until recently the pastor of Gateway, a Dallas megachurch. He was also a spiritual advisor to Donald Trump and an influential Trump booster.

He recently confessed “When I was in my early 20s, I was involved in inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady in a home where I was staying.”

The young lady was twelve. He did not have an affair with her. He raped her and continued the sexual abuse for four and a half years. She described the abuse herself:

1312: Gregory McLean

Commander Gregory McLean served as the executive officer of the littoral combat ship Minneapolis-St. Paul. A Lt. Commander in the U. S. Navy. Rhode Island investigators received a tip that an account called twisteddesire3210 and 3213 offered to share child sex abuse material. They traced the account to McLean which is when the FBI and NCIS took over the investigation and served warrants and found much more than they expected.

1311: Ronnie Killingsworth

In June, 2023, he was charged with six counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. These charges allege the abuse continued over eleven years. In May, 2024, he was convicted on all six counts and has been sentenced to 42 years in prison, about half what the jury recommended. He is 79. He could get parole in 21 years when he is 100 years old.

1309: Russell Tusing

Russell Jon Tusing II was the pastor at extremely conservative Sovereign Grace Church of LaGrange in Troup County, Georgia. Like many extreme conservatives, he reflexively calls people who disagree with him unchristian and communist. When Aaron Bushnell, the Air Force serviceman set himself on fire in protest of Israel-Hamas war, he called him a godless communist. He was suspended in March 2024, after his arrest for molesting a 13-year-old girl. His daughter.

1308: Barry Fike

Barry Fike was a pastor at Fillmore Church of Christ and taught at Oaks Christian High School and Pepperdine University. He was arrested in July 2023 after being caught in a sting with a law enforcement officer posing as an underage girl. He sent lewd photos of himself and had sexual online conversations with someone he believed was a minor and arranged to meet for sex. He was charged with felony communicating with a child with the intent to commit a sexual act, and arranging a meeting with a minor for a lewd purpose. Fike. He pleaded not guilty at the time.

1307: Bill Lunn

Bill Lunn was the Emmy=winning news director at WTBS in Shrevesport, Louisiana. He has resigned after local police initiated an investigation into him for soliciting a minor. Some young men in Shreveport created a fake online profile of a 15-year-old girl and after exchanging text with Lunn, arranged a meeting for sex.
