Marty DeCole (Cole) Wagner is a former employee of the Alabama Department of Education. He was active in the Young Republicans. He also spent three years working for AL Governor Ainsworth. He is also the former Executive Director of the committee Alliance for a Pro-Life Alabama that proffered a constitutional amendment that said there was no right to abortion in Alabama. That amendment allowed for the immediate banning of abortion in Alabama. Cole spoke of the need to defend those who could not defend himself. In his now-deleted Twitter account he joked about Joe Biden’s “inappropriate hugs.”
In July 2023, Cole Wager was arrested for sexual abuse of a minor under age twelve. It has been reported that the child is less than ten years old. File this under “Every Accusation Is a Confession.”
