Chase Tristian Espy was deputy general counsel to Alabama Governor Kay Ivey until he was arrested for online solicitation of a child. His problems grew when he was arrested because they found child sexual abuse photos and video on his phone.
He pleaded guilty to the possession of child sexual abuse material and in exchange, the charge of online solicitation was dismissed. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and twenty years of supervised release after prison.
