He was charged by Cherokee Indian Police with leaving his 6-year-old child in a car while he was in a casino gambling. He pled guilty to beating his wife. When asked about doubling down, she said she would triple down.
Augustus Sol Invictus is a white nationalist associated with the Nazi group AtomWaffen. He used to be a Libertarian but changed to Republican after Trump was elected. He participated in Unite the Right and has a long history of threatening violence. He is alleged to have strangled his ex-wife and threatened her life with a gun. He was, however, acquitted of all charges because she was terrified of testifying after threats against her life from him and from other people in the white nationalist movements.
Thomas Gilmer, a Q conspiracist, ran for Congress in Connecticut. He entered the Republican primary, was endorsed by the party convention, but was arrested for domestic violence the evening before votes were cast and withdrew the morning of the primary. His opponent, Justin Anderson, and the Republican party chair, J.R. Romano, knew about the incident.
Jamie Berryhill was a Republican primary candidate in Texas’ 11th Congressional district, an open seat with the retirement of Rep. Mike Conaway. With the endorsement of Texas Right to Life and the House Freedom Fund which is affiliated with the House Freedom Caucus, he was one of the more serious candidates. August (Augie) Wolf was a candidate for the Republican nomination to run for U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 2016. He was supported by David Koch. The campaign was not going well. By February the campaign had gone through three campaign managers and three treasurers and ten staff had been fired or resigned. In June, a former staffer accused him of sexual harassment as well as federal and state election laws. Samantha Menh alleged he made frequent sexual remarks and sexual advances.
Daniel Edmonds ran for the Republican nomination for US Congress in 2010, but he lost. In 2019, he was arrested for having inappropriate sexual contact with a child over a four-year period. A second child said Edmonds began molesting him around 2015 and continued until December 2018. He was arrested in January, 2019, so who knows how long it might have continued if the child had not come forward.
Erick Bennett challenged Susan Collins in the GOP primary in Maine, hoping to replace her in the U.S. Senate. He was convicted of domestic violence after attacking his wife in 2003. He also thinks that is a reason to vote for him. He claims his wife set him up and that he has been jailed for refusing to admit to something he didn’t do. This, he claims, is proof of how much integrity he has. His defense was she tripped over her own feet and fell against him. He was convicted, appealed and appealed and lost and lost.
