Marcie Adkins was a Florida primary candidate for the State Legislature. She hired a campaign manager whose criminal record is disturbing. He was charged with rape but pled to a lesser charge. He was charged by Cherokee Indian Police with leaving his 6-year-old child in a car while he was in a casino gambling. He pled guilty to beating his wife. When asked about doubling down, she said she would triple down.
Adkins has told detractors on Facebook that “the woman who claimed to be raped was found to be not credible by the military. No Charges. I likewise dismiss her as not credible.” – Florida Today
It is not true that the charges were dismissed. He pled guilty to a different charge. It is also disgusting that Adkins seems to cast doubt on the woman’s mental health, suggesting she was victimized by Rep. Fine.
“I pray that Mrs. Logan can receive the support and counseling she needs to recover from this and her previous emotional upsets. Please join me in praying for her so that she may receive the healing and care she needs.” But Logan responded on Facebook that Adkins was dismissive of her account when she reached out. “People deserve to know how you treated me. You didn’t offer sympathy or empathy.. until now, that it might serve to benefit you,” Logan responded to Adkins. – Florida Politics
Adkins had nothing to say about Burns arrest for child abuse nor his conviction for domestic violence.
