That’s the most irresponsible thing I’ve ever heard.” He thought the bill was a real thing, not a ploy. “Why would you consider putting us through that?” he asked.”

Rape Culture

As an abortion opponent, he had to out-extreme the extremists, so he declared he opposed exemptions for rape and incest. He described rape as “somewhat inconvenient.” His actual words were, “It’s not whether a woman should be forced to bring a child to term; it’s whether a child should be allowed to live, even though the circumstances of that child’s birth are somehow inconvenient or a problem to the society.”

Familial Abuse & Violence

Max Miller was Trump’s aide during his administration. In 2022, who ran in the primary to unseat Anthony Gonzalez, a Republican who voted to impeach Trump. He won the primary and is now in the US House of Representatives. He also has an unsavory history of bullying, abuse, and multiple criminal charges for speeding, underage drinking, disorderly conduct, and driving under the influence.

He had a relationship with Trump press secretary Stephanie Grisham that ended when he allegedly shoved her against a wall and slapped her.

564: Donovan Ray Crowl

Familial Abuse & Violence

Donovan Ray Crowl is an insurrectionist. He is a member of the Oath Keepers. In 2005, he was arrested for First Degree domestic violence, but was not prosecuted. Charges were dropped, something that often happens in domestic violence cases. CNN did a long profile with video interviews of friends and family and managed to avoid talking about his domestic violence directly.

497: Anthony Moore

Nonconsensual Recording, Organizational Cover-Up

Anthony Moore worked as a pastor at the Texas megachurch The Village Church in Fort Worth, Texas until 2017 when he was caught filming a youth pastor while showering. The man had noticed a phone wrapped in a towel on a window ledge by the shower. He looked at it and found several videos of himself showering. He reported it to the church and the church fired Moore. But they believed he could be restored.

493: Kelly Toppin

Sexual Harassment

Kelly Toppin was president of the Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education and a Stow City Council candidate. In January 2020, he and the Board were sued for sexual harassment stemming from an incident where he placed hand on the backside of a employee and patted it as she was leaving the table at a restaurant when they were attending a School Boards Association Congress.

473: Tim Braun

Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment

Tim Braun, the Republican Sandusky County prosecutor, was accused of sexual assault. He pled guilty to a lesser charge and even got to keep his job. Two women accused him of making the workplace hostile and untenable for the women who worked for him. He made comments about the woman and her coworkers body types, their clothing, how attractive they are. He put his hands, she claimed, all over a pregnant woman in the office.

440: Mark Adams

Sexual Harassment

Mark Adams was the fiscal officer for Butler township and treasurer of Montgomery County GOP. HeIn 2019, he resigned after a woman accused him of theft and sexual harassment. According to her, he harassed her when she met with him at the bank where he worked. She gave him money to open an account but it was not credited to her. The bank investigated and fired Adams. However, she did not file a suit and he was back at Butler Township in 2020.

425: Michael Henne

Sexual Harassment

Michael Henne is an Ohio state representative who said something offensive to a table of people at an event. There was an investigation that determined his remark was inappropriate but did not rise to the level of criminal sexual harassment. He was ordered to take sensitivity training and lost a committee assignment.
