Jim Stewart III is a Kentucky state representative. In 2015, he was accused of sexual harassment. A woman on the legislative staff filed a complaint noting that she even changed her movement so she could avoid him and he would seek her out. He grew more insistent, trying to speak to her in public and calling her several times a day.
James Holtzclaw is an Idaho Republican representative. In 2017, a complaint was filed revealing that at least two women objected to what he said to them. One claimed he made her feel uncomfortable and asked if she used SnapChat. The other said she told him to stop making flirty comments to her.
Joel Anderson is a San Diego County Supervisor and a former Republican state senator in California. He was reprimanded for threatening a woman who was a lobbyist in a bar. He rubbed her shoulders which witnesses described as clearly unwelcome and uninvited. He then complained that her organization had not endorsed him, and said he out to “bitch slap” her. According to a witness, he threatened to slap her several times. Another witness confirmed it as did the restaurant staff.
John Fickas was a Republican campaign consultant in California. He was also a volunteer high school track and field coach. He also raped students. He raped a 15-year-old and a 22-year-old former student while they were unconscious. His third victim was 42. He raped a 15-year-old assigned to volunteer with him on campaign duties twice.…
Steven Seagal has been accused of sexual assault by several women, even one girl who was only seventeen at the time. Regina Simons accused him of raping her in 1993 when she was eighteen and also claims she reported it to the police at the time. Jenny McCarthy accused him of sexually harassing her. Portia di Rossi accused him of unzipping his pants during an audition. Faviola Dadids claims he groped her when she was seventeen. Julianna Margulies described an audition that frightened her and she feels she escaped assault by fleeing.
Valentino DiGiorgio III was chair of the Pennsylvania Republican Party but was forced to resign after he sent unwelcome sexual texts to a woman who was running for Philadelphia City Council. They connected over Facebook and then began texting each other, some of the texts were flirtatious, but then the messages got overly sexual and she told him that he made her uncomfortable and harassing her. Gerald Antinoro is the sheriff of Storey County, Nevada. He has served four terms but did not run for re-election in Nov. 2022, so will be ending his service at year’s end. This is extraordinary considering at least five women have accused him of rape and the county has had to pay hundreds of thousands to settle sexual harassment complaints.
Trice Harvey was a Republican California state representative. The state Legislature paid $10,000 to settle a sexual harassment complaint. His defenders claimed that there was an misunderstanding of what is funny. The complainant said she was subject to two years of offensive remarks. She signed a confidentiality agreement that Harvey ignored going to the press with claims of innocence, claiming she was fired and her suit was retaliation. This infuriated her since she could not discuss the details of why she filed a claim.
Tom Ganley was a Republican congressional candidate in Ohio. He lost his election in 2010. He was accused by two different women of sexually harassing them.
