It should be shocking that a man who was sentenced to twelve years in prison for rape would win the Republican nomination. Yet, somehow it is not.
Jonathan Hernandez was the Chair of the Oklahoma College Republicans. He was also a campaign outreach worker for Ryan Walters who ran successfully for State Superintendant. They terminated his employment after two weeks. Shortly before his arrest, he received recognition from the state Republican Party for his work in Latino outreach and even a received a message from the national organization. He was employed by the Senate at the time of his arrest but was terminated.
Vince McMahon is the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and a close friend of Donald Trump. He even paid $5 million to Trump’s fraudulent foundation. He’s a generous donor to Republicans as well. He was forced out in 2022 when the board learned he spent millions on settle sexual harassment suits. However, he forced his way back even though there are pending lawsuits for sexual harassment and brand news ones as well.

Ray Holmberg was a North Dakota senator for 44 years. In 2020, Caton Todd accused him of sexual assault. His allegation was ignored by the media. It got a little more attention when it was discovered that Holmberg exchanged 72 text messages with a man charged with distributing child sex abuse material (CSAM), possessing CSAM, and transporting two children from Minneapolis to Grand Forks, ND, in order to sexually abuse them.
Ravi Zacharias was the head of an international ministry. Originally a supporter of Marco Rubio for President, he switched to supporting Trump. When he died, Mike Pence spoke at his funeral. Allegations of sexual misconduct were made before his death, but it really blew up when Christianity Today released a report detailing his sexual harassment of women who work at massage parlors.
Bill Hutchinson is a Dallas, TX, developer and reality TV personality on the Lifetime show Marrying Millions. A young girl has alleged he provided her and other teens alcohol and marijuana. She also alleges he touched her inappropriately and sexually assaulted her. Three other women claim he sexually assaulted him. A man created a Facebook page titled Schuylkill County Sheriff Candidate Doug Litwhiler likes young girls. He posted text messages sent to a woman when she was seventeen. He said he had been told by three different women that Litwhiler pursued them when they were underage. After posting, many other women came forward with their own screenshots.
Ryan Samsel is an insurrectionist. He is accused of assaulting several officers during the insurrection and leaving one of them with a concussion. He has a long history of domestic violence and sexual assault. In fact, at the time he was attacking Capitol Police, there was a warrant for his arrest for alleged breaking into a woman’s home to assault her. He was also on parole for his brutal attack on his pregnant girlfriend and witness intimidation.
Dominic Foppoli was the mayor of Windsor, California. He was accused of sexual assault by four women, then a fifth, then more than a dozen. The San Francisco Chronicle has a page devoted to the scandal. He was defiant for a time but finally bowed to pressure and has resigned.
