554: Chad Michael Salsman

Chad Michael Salsman was elected as District Attorney. He was an active volunteer at his church. A Republican, he had been a defense attorney. In 2019, he forced some of his clients to trade sex for legal representation. He was charged with sexual assault, indecent assault, witness intimidation, obstruction of justice, and promoting prostitution.

551: Steven Sumner

Child Rape, Child Sexual Abuse Material, Coercion, Sexual Assault, Sexual Battery, Sexual Misconduct

Steven Sumner was a Republican county councilman for Madison County, Indiana. He is also the pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was charged with Child Seduction which means Sumner was in some way the child’s guardian, adoptive parent, adoptive grandparent, custodian, or stepparent. Other charges include child molestation, contributing to delinquency, sexual battery, sexual misconduct, as well as possession of child sexual exploitation material. According to the State Police, a child, younger than sixteen, told them he gave her alcohol and performed sexual acts on her and asked her to reciprocate. Additional charges were added involving a child under 14. The trial is set for February 27, 2023

539: George Rutler

Sexual Assault

George Rutler is a reactionary Catholic priest who advocates for conservative causes, mocks liberals, and attacks Pope Francis. He has had his own radio show, a church in midtown Manhattan, writes opinion pieces for a few Catholic magazines, and has written books on Catholic history. He compared Gov. Cuomo to King Herod. He is downright mean. To get an idea of how mean, he was enraged by a eulogy praising David Bowie who wrote that Bowie’s death was the first time he knew he existed. He bragged of walking out of events and restaurants if rock music is played, Funny how he did not know Bowie existed but knew enough to call him on of the “paragons of degeneracy and paladins of vice.”

He has been accused of sexual assault.

536: David Farley

David Farley was an Oregon doctor and GOP donor. He lost his license to practice medicine after several patients came forward with complaints that he sexually assaulted them. The patients allege he touched their genitals without gloves and fondled their breasts all under the pretext of a medical exam.

529: Andrew Napolitano

Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment

Andrew Napolitano was a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey and worked for FOX News for twenty-four years as an on-air expert in legal matters. He also offered his opinions (very conservative) on other issues. He was let go after one accusation of sexual assault led to others also coming forward. Two of those accusing him of sexual assault are men. One accused Napolitano of sexually abusing him while he presided over his case. The other accused him of inviting him to his home only to pressure him to participate in sexual roleplay. Napolitano countersued for libel. Both sides dismissed their cases at the same time with no public mention of any settlement.

528: Dan Snyder

Dan Snyder was the owner of the NFL franchise in Washington, D.C., the Washington Commanders, that previously had a notoriously racist name which Snyder repeatedly ignored the public pressure to change. He was alleged to have allowed a hostile work environment for the team’s cheerleaders and for lewd and sexist requests.

525: Michael Weeden

Menacing, Sexual Assault

Michael Weeden is a former Dover, NH, City Councilor and a NH state representative. In 2015. he was convicted in a jury trial for felony criminal threatening and sentenced to a year in jail with 180 days suspended. He was acquitted of raping her in a separate trial. The alleged attack happened on March 5, 2012.

He resigned after accused of sexual harassment and possible sexual assault of a subordinate. She alleged that he got her drunk and she woke up in his bed with no memory of what happened. He claimed whatever happened, it was consensual.
