Vince McMahon is the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and a close friend of Donald Trump. He even paid $5 million to Trump’s fraudulent foundation. He’s a generous donor to Republicans as well. He was forced out in 2022 when the board learned he spent millions on settle sexual harassment suits. However, he forced his way back even though there are pending lawsuits for sexual harassment and brand news ones as well.
In 1992, he was accused of ignoring sexual harassment in the World Wresting Federation, a sort of casting couch atmosphere as well as molestation of underage “ring boys.” That same year, Rita Chatterton alleged McMahon had raped her six years earlier. She came forward again in 2022 when the world was more prepared to listen. It was a busy year. He was also exposed as helping a domestic abuser avoid charges. It’s possibly he even helped him evade a murder charge.
In 2006, a salon employee filed a complaint of forcible groping. In 2022, the board began an investigation of money spent to a former employee. Then the WSJ turned up there more settlements, including for sexual assault. Then he was accused of sexual harassment. Then the WSJ found a spa manager that says he sexually assaulted her.
There is a new suit unsealed 1/31/2023 from a sharehold with rape, sexual harassment, and sexual assault allegations.
