Kevin Smith served in New Hampshire’s House of Representatives. He also worked in several government offices before running for U.S. Senate in the Republican primary. He lost, coming in third with 11.6% of the vote. He also was the Executive Director of the conservative New Hampshire advocacy group Cornerstone. He was for many years the City Manager of Londonderry where he lives.
He was accused of covering for sexual harassing supervisors in a sexual harassment and disability discrimination suit. In the suit, it was claimed he made dumb blonde jokes and called one employee “porkchop.” He was accused of retaliating when a worker made an official complaint about sexual harassment by other supervisors.
