Jared Woodfill was the Harris County GOP Chair for ten years from 2002 to 2012. He remained politically active and is partially credited with defeating an LGBTQ equal rights ordinance in Houston. Since 2004, he has known that Paul Pressler sexually abused a child when helped settle negotiate a settlement that kept it silenced without any criminal repercussions. Nonetheless, in 2016, he wrote “This 85-year-old man has never made any inappropriate comments or actions toward me or any one I know of.”
Charles Wadlington is a professor at Abilene Christian University. He remains listed as a member of the faculty as of June 2023. His adopted children came forward alleging sexual abuse.
