He was arrested for soliciting a minor, caught in an online sting. He chatted with a police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl. He was told to turn himself in and he did. This was his second arrest as the first time the charges were dismissed. He was sentenced to five and half years in 2011 but paroled in 2014.
Joel Sartori was Assistant Treasurer for Carl Paladino’s unsuccessful campaigns for governor and for the GOP nomination for Congress. Sartori was convicted in 2017 of both possessing and distributing child sex abuse material. Paladino has known and employed Sartori for years and knows of his conviction. Paladino said Sartori has paid his dues and deserves another chance.
Michael McGuire was the youngest mayor in Blasdell, New York, when he was sworn in back in 1978. He was also a math and science teacher at Immaculata Academy, a Catholic all-girls school. That was where he groomed some of his students and sexually abused them for three years. Three of them sued him in 2019 under New York’s Child Victims Act, though two of them confronted him several years ago when he told them he was just preparing them for college.
Neil Gardner was the Highway Superintendent in Stephentown, New York. In March, 2022, he settled with a woman who sued under New York’s Child Victims Act. The woman claimed he sexually abused her from the age of twelve and that he took explicit photos of her “that he would brag about and sell.” A second woman came forward with a similar experience of being repeatedly raped as a child.
Keith Poole was the editor-in-chief of Rupert Murdoch’s poorly-regarded tabloid The New York Post who fired Michelle Gotthelf which she alleged was retaliation for speaking up about the abuse and harassment by former editor-in-chief Col Allan. Gotthelf sued and the Post settled.
Col Allan is an Australian “journalist” who was the editor-in-chief of the race-baiting, rightwing Murdoch rag, The New York Post. As you could predict for a Murdoch paper, he pinned the Boston Marathon Bombing on the wrong people putting the pictures of two innocent people on the cover. He was sued for sexual harassment and retaliation. The paper settled.
Karel Ambroz II was a member of the Walworth Town Board and the Fire Chief. He resigned after being arrested for “Attempted Criminal Sex Act”. He was caught soliciting someone he thought was a 14-year-old child but was actually a member of law enforcement.
Tom Reed was a Congressman from New York. A woman accused him of sexual misconduct after he accosted her at a dinner in downtown Minneapolis. The woman was a lobbyist and was attending a fundraising event for a GOP candidate. She alleged that he rubbed her back, unsnapped her bra and stroked her thigh. A witness corroborated her allegations.
Dominic Pezzola, of Rochester, New York, is an insurrectionist and has been charged with seditionist conspiracy. He is also a member of the Proud Boys. The police took a rifle from him after they were called out for a domestic dispute and a violation of a restraining order.
Ken Kurson is a friend of Jared Kushner, editing Kushner’s New York Observer. He was also a Giuliani confidante and a political consultant. He was nominated to a seat on the board of the National Endowment of the Humanities but withdrew claiming it was too much paperwork. In fact, the initial background check for all nominees uncovered that he was stalking and harassing three people. He was arrested on federal charges of cyber-stalking, installing a keystroke recorder, calling employers to make complaints about them, and more. One of the people he is accused of cyberstalking is his ex-wife.
