Garrett Ventry was Iowa Republican Sen. Grassley’s communications aide and assigned to speak for the Senate Judiciary Committee on the Kavanaugh nomination. He abruptly resigned when asked about sexual harassment allegations against him.
Previously, Ventry worked as a social media adviser in 2017 in the office of North Carolina House Majority Leader John Bell, who fired him.
