Dennis Nielsen is a gun shop owner and was a Republican primary candidate for District 11 in North Carolina’s state senate. He lost the primary. He is alleged to have said the woman who was running against him was unqualified because she is a woman. He is alleged to have refused to speak to a reporter because she is a woman. His deflective answers sustain the allegation.
