Von Loor has a long history of domestic violence. Most of the actions were dismissed by his wife, but he parses very fine. For example, his ex-wife was seeking an order of protection against him and the judge asked him if he every committed any violence against his ex-wife, Mrs. Robey. He said no, the judge read a finding that he committed domestic violence and he told the judge “She wasn’t Mrs. Robey then, she was Mrs. Loor.”
