Matt Gaetz is a current U.S. representative and a former Florida state representative representing the district where the dystopian planned-senior-community The Villages is located. He has been accused of creating a sex game where points are awarded for sleeping with women. He has also been accused of trafficking a minor child, paying her for sex with money, drugs, and alcohol.
While in the state legislature, Gaetz allegedly created a sex game where men got points for who they slept with. The allegation came from a fellow Republican, Chris Latvala. It should be pointed out that Latvala and Gaetz were twitter-fighting and they are participating in the second-generation of the Latvala-Gaetz enmity that originated with their fathers, also both Florida state representatives in the past.
However, Latvala was not the only person to name Gaetz, a GOP woman gave a fuller description of the game to Business Insider explaining that they even gave points for sleeping at a sorority house, encouraging elected representatives to pursue young women. According to ABC’s source, there were also extra points for sex with virgins.

More serious allegations were revealed after his friend Joel Greenberg was indicted for sex trafficking a minor and a host of other crimes. Gaetz paid for the travel and expenses of a 17-year-old girl whom he paid for sex. He denies knowing she was just 17, but Greenberg who pled guilty and provided testimony for further investigations said he told him. in a phone call and there is a witness to the call. Lest someone think the federal investigation is partisan, it was begun under Trump Attorney General Barr.
Gaetz denies the allegations and it is unlikely he will be prosecuted because while seventeen is below the federal age for trafficking it is a legal age in Florida. The DOJ declined to prosecute.
Update: House Ethics Committee released sworn testimony revealing Gaetz attended party with minors where cocaine and MDMA were used. Gaetz resigned before a censure vote was cast in the Ethics Committee.
UPDATE: Court documents for the case have been released and reveal that the girl Gaetz trafficked was homeless and living in a shelter.
