1256: Corey Botelho

Corey Botelho was a Jefferson County deputy sheriff. As the owner of a security firm Tri-Force Tactical, he was a board member of the area Chamber of Commerce. A soccer coach, he was also a board member of the United Vallely Soccer Association. He is the former president of the Clarion Rifle and Pistol Club. This well-known “community leader” has been charged with repeatedly raping a child since she was eight until she was fifteen. In December, he again tried to abuse her and she stopped him. He faces 79 charges.

According to the child, he would often build a blanket fort for them to “play” and then abuse her. As she got older the abuse happened in other places. This continued for seven years.
