Donald H. Briggs served as the mayor of Millbrook, New York for two terms. His last term ended in 2007. In 2016, he was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual act with a person under seventeen. The minor is not a relative.

Briggs is on a frequently shared list of supposed Democratic predators that seems to have been done without any diligence as Briggs is not the only Republican identified as a Democrat. Perhaps they assume any politician in New York is a Democrat.
