1192: Robert Austin

Robert William Austin, a Florida Department of Corrections chaplain, was caught in an undercover sting. Police created several false identities on social media. Austin sent messages to one of those false identities thinking he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl. He sent her explicit pictures. The day “he was arrested he happened to tell the “girl” that he was going fishing. The police worked with Fish and Wildlife, found him where he was out fishing, and arrested him there.

1138: Antonio Capilupi

Antonio Capilupi was a high school teacher in Martin County, Florida. He solicited explicit pictures from one of the students at the high school since December 2022. Other students saw the pictures on SnapChat. He was arrested for using a computer to solicit a minor and possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
1091: Matthew Reilly

June brought worse problems when he was arrested for child molestation involving a twelve-year-old girl. The child molestation investigation began a week before the drug arrest. He was charged with one count each of first-degree child molestation, second-degree child molestation, and enticement of a person under the age of 16.

His former fiancée filed a restraining order alleging violence. He denies it.
Another serious allegation was made in his home state of Indiana where he was alleged to have a student he taught at a middle school, either a sixth or seventh grader. The case was not pursued even though there were allegations from several people and despite his being fired for exposing himself to a custodian. Later a thirteen-year-old girl claimed he molested her and gave her a nude photo of himself. She showed it to several classmates. The case was dismissed because the judge excluded one of the essential witnesses.
1066: John Brownlow

John Brownlow is the former Chief Financial Office of Westminster Academy, a school that follows the theology of Doug Wilson. He was arrested for stalking a minor online and in person, going so far as to break into his home to spy on his and get unlawful images of him. He would persuade the boy to engage in a sexual activity and then record it without his knowledge. This went on from 2020 to 2022.

Kent Stermon was appointed the the Florida Board of Governors by Gov. Ron DeSantis, a man he helped elect and to whom he donated generously. Stermon was an influential GOP donor and active in politics without running for office. In December, 2022, he killed himself. It was rumored that it was due to an investigation of sexual misconduct.
