Erik Sickinger was a councilman in the city of Irmo, South Carolina. He stepped up to serve as mayor pro tem in 2023. In March, 2025, he was accused of grooming and assaulting a 15-year-old boy. Specifically, he was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second degree, and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a charge of luring, enticing, or attempting to lure or entice children. James Robert Murphey worked for over twenty years as youth pastor at Oak View Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina. To their credit, the church went to the police and suspended Murphey as soon as they learned of allegations that he had sexually battered a minor.
Trevor Aaron Ranere was a Bannock County Sheriff’s Deputy. He is accused of sexual abusing a sixteen-year-old girl. According to the girl’s statement, she was working at an assisted living facility and called to report a prowler. Renare answered the call.
Russell Jon Tusing II was the pastor at extremely conservative Sovereign Grace Church of LaGrange in Troup County, Georgia. Like many extreme conservatives, he reflexively calls people who disagree with him unchristian and communist. When Aaron Bushnell, the Air Force serviceman set himself on fire in protest of Israel-Hamas war, he called him a godless communist. Elliot “Alu” Axelman was a Republican candidate for New Hampshire State Legislature. Vivek Ramaswamy listed him as an endorser in the 2024 presidential primary. He is an advocate for New Hampshire Secession.
He has been arrested and charged with false imprisonment, two counts of simple assault, and four counts of sexual assault, all misdemeanors. The alleged incident happened at a Libertarian fair called Porcfest and the victim was just fourteen. She had been separated from her parents and her phone was dead. She ran into Axelman, a family friend. He texted her mother that he had found her, but then offered her alcohol, took her to a field, and would not let her leave, kissing her and grinding against her
John Goodrich was a dentist and bishop of the Church of Latter-Day Saints (LDS.) He made a public confession to sexually assaulting his daughter in his church. He was excommunicated. Following his confession, his daugher and her mother made a complaint alleging years of sexual abuse to police in Idaho in 2016. However, his “spiritual confession” could not be used in court and the police did nothing.
However, he is alleged to have sexually assaulted her on a 1999 field trip when she was thirteen. The trip was to Washington, DC, and to Williamsburg, VA, where the famous Colonial Williamsburg draws hundreds of field trips each year. It was in Virginia where Goodrich was finally indicted.

A soccer coach, he was also a board member of the United Vallely Soccer Association. He is the former president of the Clarion Rifle and Pistol Club.
