1254: Lillie Bowman

Lillie Bowman was a high school teacher and trap team coach in Norris, Oklahoma. In early April, a student told the school administrators about a sexual relationship between the trap-shooting coach and one of the students she was coaching. The school “investigated” and determined there was nothing amiss and warned the student who had come to them to stop talking about the teacher and the student she victimized or risk suspension. The also informed the school resource officer that the rumor was unfounded and called the mother of the student who reported the rumor.

1253: Paul Humphrey

During the interview, the child reported that she had known Humphrey since she was second grade. She said Humphrey “had sex” with her fifteen times during her sophomore year, that he put a tracking app on her phone, and that she acquiesced because she felt pressured because he was a father figure and a police officer.

1252: Brad Nash

Bradley Nash is the former mayor of Salem, Missouri. (He won with 93% of the vote in 2020.) He was also the Dent Co. fire chief and emergency manager until just before his arrest for child molestation and sodomy.

1250: Shawn Gooden

Shawn Gooden was a bishop with the Mormon church and a member of the executive board of the New Birth of Freedom Boy Scouts. He was a lawyer in Harrisburg, PA. He was also an adjunct professor at Widener University Commonwealth Law School. That was all before he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a young relative in Virginia and was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison.

1249: Micah Whitfield

Child Molestation, Grooming, Solicitation of a Minor

Micah Whitfield was the technical director of the Arend Arts Center and an employee of Bentonville Schools in Arkansas. He was also on the board of directors of Campfire Ministries local, which has been inactive in recent years. He was arrested for the sexual assault of a high school student.

1241: Richard Shaw

Child Molestation

He was recently arrested to be extradited to Florida where he has been accused of molesting a child under the age of twelve. According to the Polk County (Floridan) Sheriff, “In December 2023, Shaw visited Lakeland, FL, and when he returned back to Wyoming the Polk County victim disclosed to her mother that Shaw had inappropriately touched her underneath and over the top of her clothing while he was there. The mother called and spoke to Shaw, who admitted to touching the child, who is younger than 12 years old.”

1238: Mark Rivera

Mark Rivera was a pastor at Christ Our Light Anglican Church, in Big Rock, Illinois when he sexually abused a nine-year-old girl who was a member of his church. The abuse spanned two years, 2018 to 2019 He was originally charged with twenty-nine counts but they were cut down to three and he was convicted in a bench trial on two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and a charge of criminal sexual abuse.

1236: Patrick Stephen Miller

Child Molestation

Patrick Stephen Miller, a former Immanuel Baptist Church youth minister, was originally charged with second-degree sexual assault for allegedly abusing an elementary school child. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor harassment in January 2022. In the plea agreement, he was given a suspended sentence with credit for his nineteen days he was in jail. Now he wants his record expunged.
