1017: Anastasia Dawson

Anastasia Dawson was a ward youth leader at an LDS church in Hamilton, Missouri. In February, 2023, she was charged with seven felony sexual abuse crimes involving a sixteen-year-old minor. She has been charged with 2nd degree statutory sodomy, 2nd degree statutory rape, abuse or neglect of a child, 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of 4th degree child molestation.

982: Michael Patterson

Child Endangerment, Familial Abuse & Violence, Improper Conduct or Comments, Sexual Battery, Sexual Harassment

Michael Patterson was the City Manager of Florence, Colorado. He was arrested in November 2021 for four counts, including two counts of stalking-emotional distress, a Class 5 felony; sexual contact-no consent, a Class 1 misdemeanor; and providing alcohol to a minor, also a Class 1 misdemeanor. He was immediately terminated and ordered to stay off city property.

However, the council knew about a litany of complaints about his behavior in the office and had already settled three sexual harassment suits. They knew he had pleaded guilty to domestic violence in Oregon when they hired him. When word got out about this arrest, all but one council member resigned.

918: Sean M. Higgins

855: Angie Woodward

Angie Woodward operated Trinity Teen Solutions, a Christian boarding camp for unruly children. Twenty-five former students filed a class-action lawsuit alleging they were not provided the residential counseling and treatment but instead were forced to work ten to twelve hours a day doing farm labor on the board camp ranch, for other ranches, at churches, and even at a coffee shop.

His wife and children allege he was abusive, that he terrorized them until they escaped in a carefully planned feat. They were certain he would kill them. He threatened to kill the family dog. He threatened to kill himself. He choked one of his daughters He certainly promised to do so often enough. 643: Daniel Gai

Daniel Gai was an aide for Fresno Republican City Councilmember Garry Bredefeld. He resigned after pleading no contest to five felony domestic violence charges. He admitted to one count of committing corporal injury on spouse or cohabitant, three counts of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and one count of child endangerment.

616: Stephanie Householder

Stephanie Householder and her husband, Boyd, operated the Circle of Hope Girls Ranch, ostensibly a “Christian boarding school” for unruly girls in Missouri. Missouri is infamous for poorly regulated Christian boarding schools that continue to operate despite authorities knowing that abuse and neglect are rampant.

615: Boyd Householder

Circle of Hope was bad enough for authorities to step in after even the Householder’s children affirmed the complaints of former students. Boyd Householder was arrested and charged with 79 felonies, including child molestation, sodomy, sexual contact with a student and neglect of a child. Stephanie Householder was indicted with 22 felonies including child abuse, neglect, and endangerment. This is for incidents over the three years from 2017 to 2020, though Circle of Hope operated much longer.

513: Robert Burns

Robert Burns was the campaign manager for Marcie Adkins, a Republican primary candidate competing against Republican Rep. Randy Fine. He was accused of raping and sodomizing a woman while she was incapacitated in Colorado. In South Carolina he was charged by Cherokee Indian Police with leaving his child in a car while he was in a casino gambling. In Richland County, SC, he pled guilty to beating his wife.

461: Dan Clark

Child Endangerment, Solicitation of a Minor, Stalking/Harassment

Dan Clark was a precinct committee officer elected to the Clark County Republican Party Bylaws and Resolutions Committee with 70% of the secret ballot vote. Those voting were well aware that he is a convicted child predator who repeatedly snuck into a fifteen-year-old girl’s bedroom, gave her alcohol, asked her to marry him despite having a restraining order against him. He was 43 at the time.
