Prior to his attack on the U.S. Capitol, he had thirteen criminal convictions including one for battery of a child. Huttle had served over two years for child abuse, convicted of battery so severe that his son had bruises all over his backside. The child could not sit properly for over a week. He racked up another four charges between January 6th and his pardon. He was shot and killed by a deputy in a traffic stop.
Rebecca Hood was a sixteen-year member of the Gordon County, Georgia, Board of Commissioners. She was also the Chair of the Commission from 2015 to 2022, when she retired. She and her husband have been arrested and charged with cruelty to children.
As well as advocating violence, he has been arrested for practicing it as well. He’s been charged with child abuse for putting one boy in a chokehold and slapping another. This happened in a restaurant and was recorded. The kids were sitting in a booth and he walked up behind them and attacked.
Kristopher Gellenbeck is an Oklahoma City police officer who was put on paid administrative leave after he was arrested for allegedly strangling his son.
Joseph Ortega is a police officer in Las Vegas, Nevada. In November, 2023, he was arrested and charged with child abuse and domestic violence. His attorney said he was cleared to return to work. The Police Department said he was suspended without pay.
Phillip Koons is a Hall of Fame high school football coach in Ringling, OK. He is also listed as the Ringling High School Principal and his wife the school counselor. Other family members also are on staff and his sons are assistant coaches. He is alleged to have abused students verbally and physically. There is no official in the school whom students could turn to who is not connected to Koons.
Martin Burns is a pastor of Winamac Nazarene Church in Indiana. He has been charged with two criminal counts of battery after a surveillance video appeared on social media allegedly showing him kneeling on the chest of a 4-year-old boy at a church day care center. The child was hanging on his leg, making it difficult for him to walk. So, he kneeled on the four-year-old child’s chest until he began coughing and let go of him.
Ruby Franke is/was a mommy vlogger who had a YouTube channel with her husband called “8 Passengers.” In August, her twelve-year-old son ran to the neighbors’ house begging for food and water. The neighbor immediately called the police because the child was emaciated, had bruises and wounds and duct tape on his extremities. When police arrived they called for an ambulance to see to his care. They learned his ten-year-old sister was still tied up, held without food and water at home. The police entered the home, rescued the little girl and arrested Franke.
Miracle Meadows was a boarding school for troubled youth in Salem, West Virginia. It was under the aegis of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Founded in 1988, it operated until it was closed down in 2014.
A desperate student drank a cleaning product, was taken to the hospital where she begged for help. An investigation into the school began and the school’s education status was revoked.
Anastasia Dawson was a ward youth leader at an LDS church in Hamilton, Missouri. In February, 2023, she was charged with seven felony sexual abuse crimes involving a sixteen-year-old minor. She has been charged with 2nd degree statutory sodomy, 2nd degree statutory rape, abuse or neglect of a child, 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of 4th degree child molestation.
