James Holtzclaw is an Idaho Republican representative. In 2017, a complaint was filed revealing that at least two women objected to what he said to them. One claimed he made her feel uncomfortable and asked if she used SnapChat. The other said she told him to stop making flirty comments to her.
A teenage page named Holtzclaw as well as Brandon Hixon (135) along with a lobbyist as three people who made her uncomfortable although she said there was nothing physical other than a too-long touch on her arm. Hixon was under investigation for sexual abuse and killed himself. The page said Holtzclaw made frequent, strange, and flirty comments. She was moved to another committee so she would not have to interact with him. He and the lobbyist were reprimanded.
The House Speaker said he forwarded the complaint to the Attorney General.
