Brandon Hixon was a state legislator in Idaho. A ten-year-old girl told people for over a year that he was a bad man, but no one paid attention. When Hixon began dating her friend’s mother, she was afraid he would do to her friend what he had done to her so she went to her school’s counselor and police officer and told them what had happened to her. He began raping her when she was about four or five and continued until 2017. He forced her compliance and silence by threatening her brother…just in case his suicide makes you feel some pity for him.
According to the investigation, he raped two young girls at least. Sadly an earlier case in 2014 went nowhere other than Hixon fretting it might damage his political career. When the allegations became public, he resigned and then shot himself, though the investigation continued even after his suicide.
