Cliff Hite was an Ohio state senator. He decided he wanted to have sex with a state employee and despite her repeated refusals he kept asking and asking, one time for over an hour, explaining that “I’m a grown man. I have needs” and talking about his sex life with his wife. He propositioned her nine times. He told her she would change her mind. She filed a complaint of sexual harassment that ultimately led to his resignation.
