Diego Morales is the Secretary of State in Indiana. Interestingly, when he worked for the Secretary of State’s office twice in the past, he got bad performance reviews and was fired and later, working a different position, disciplined. Now he runs the show.
He also won despite two fellow Republican women coming forward to allege sexual misconduct by Morales including forcible kissing. Both women went to Republican Party leadership hoping to deal with it privately to protect the party’s reputation, but the leaders did nothing which is why they went public.
One woman has fundraised, worked on party campaigns, and told six different people, but not withdrew their support for Morales. Shefeels betrayed.
