1461: Mike Pruitt

Stalking/Harassment

Michael D. Pruitt is the Johnson County, Indiana, coroner. A 17-year-old girl who cared for Pruitt’s pigs and showed them at fairs through 4-H has gotten a protective order against him for stalking, sending unwanted texts, and providing her with alcohol and gummies. The girl’s mother sought the order when Pruitt would not stop sending texts.

1439: Scott Truelove

Indecent Exposure

Scott Truelove was a school librarian at East Allen County Schools and won election to the East Noble School Corporation board in 2020. He was the Board secretary.

On July 22nd, he was arrested a police undercover operation at a park that had attracted a lot of complaints about drugs and “lewd acts.”

1404: David Finkel

Child Exploitation, Child Sexual Abuse Material

David Finkel was the Vice-President of the Shelbyville, Indiana, School Board and a former Republican primary candidate for mayor in 2023. He stepped down from the school board after he was arrested in June 2025 and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material and sexual exploitation of a minor.

1368: Matthew Huttle

Child Abuse, Familial Abuse & Violence

Prior to his attack on the U.S. Capitol, he had thirteen criminal convictions including one for battery of a child. Huttle had served over two years for child abuse, convicted of battery so severe that his son had bruises all over his backside. The child could not sit properly for over a week. He racked up another four charges between January 6th and his pardon. He was shot and killed by a deputy in a traffic stop.

1253: Paul Humphrey

Abuse of Power or Authority, Child Molestation, Child Rape, Grooming

During the interview, the child reported that she had known Humphrey since she was second grade. She said Humphrey “had sex” with her fifteen times during her sophomore year, that he put a tracking app on her phone, and that she acquiesced because she felt pressured because he was a father figure and a police officer.

1176: Martin Burns

Child Abuse

Martin Burns is a pastor of Winamac Nazarene Church in Indiana. He has been charged with two criminal counts of battery after a surveillance video appeared on social media allegedly showing him kneeling on the chest of a 4-year-old boy at a church day care center. The child was hanging on his leg, making it difficult for him to walk. So, he kneeled on the four-year-old child’s chest until he began coughing and let go of him.

1082: Larry Wilcoxson

Assault, Child Molestation, Grooming, Intimidation, Menacing, Solicitation of a Minor

His former fiancée filed a restraining order alleging violence. He denies it.

Another serious allegation was made in his home state of Indiana where he was alleged to have a student he taught at a middle school, either a sixth or seventh grader. The case was not pursued even though there were allegations from several people and despite his being fired for exposing himself to a custodian. Later a thirteen-year-old girl claimed he molested her and gave her a nude photo of himself. She showed it to several classmates. The case was dismissed because the judge excluded one of the essential witnesses.

1054: Joshua Craft

Child Sexual Abuse Material

Joshua Craft was an unsuccessful Republican candidate for Otter Creek Township trustee in Vigo County, Indiana, just north of Terre Haute. The FBI received a tip from Charter Communications and Google that he was sharing Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM) and passed it on to the Terre Haute Police Department. Fittingly, Craft’s user name at the site, Chat Avenue, was Josh38PervDad. He was arrested in April, 2023. He trial is scheduled for October 10, 2023.
