Barry Doss is a former Tennessee state representative who went too far in his defense of Rep. David Byrd, alleged child molester. He crossed over several lines after he said that while Byrd is ashamed of things he has done in the past, he’s been forgiven by God. That’s when he decided to pull the we-all-have-sinned ploy, “That was 32 years ago. I think there’s something in every one of our lives in the last 30 years that you could go after.” Not raping children, though.
Then, he topped it off with this: “There’s a lot more people that have molested people than you’re letting on. Are we gonna kick them all (out)?”
You need to hear it.
