Thomas Wall was pastor of the conservative Pentecostal Fellowship Church in Lancaster, Kentucky. He also administered the Christian academy run by the church. He was originally arrested in January 2022, accused of sexually abusing a family member over forty years ago when the relative was under the age of twelve.
James Comer is the Chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee who has made the committee into a conspiracy-mill. However, he has been credibly accused by an ex-girlfriend of being physically abusive and of getting her pregnant and taking her for an abortion. Two college friends corroborate her relationship and the physical abuse. She listed him as the person taking her home from the abortion clinic.
Darrin Rice was the pastor of Meades Branch Freewill Baptist Church and the head girls basketball coach at Johnson Central high school. In September, 2022, he was arrested for rape, sodomy, and sexual abuse of a minor while he was in a position of authority.
Matthew Leveridge is a Commonwealth Attorney for the 57th Circuit in Kentucky. This is in spite of serious misconduct. For example, he slept with a defendant he was prosecuting for drug offenses. When she got pregnant and told his wife, he tried to get the diversion program he offered her rescinded and send her to jail. He also had an affair with a juror.
Paul Reeves was the mayor of Ashland, Kentucky. He resigned after he was charged with receiving two videos that contained child sexual abuse material. He ordered the videos from an undercover company run by postal inspectors. When they entered his home, they caught him watching a CSAM video. They began investigating Reeves when his credit card information was found on a server. He was sentenced to 42 months in prison.
William A. Jones was president of the conservative Baptist Georgetown College in Kentucky. In November, 2021, allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct against employees led to his firing. The College acted promptly, firing him immediately they learned he had violated school policies. In February, 2022, another woman came forward alleging sexual harassment and retaliation. Jones continues to deny all the allegations and filed suit in late 2022 against the college
Matt Bevin was the governor of Kentucky. After he lost to Andy Beshear in 2018, he pardoned several people as he was leaving office. There were 428 pardons, many of relatives of his donors. He explained the pardons were motivated by his strong belief in second chances. While the governor had the absolute right to pardon anyone he pleased, some of his pardons were particularly controversial, particularly his pardon of a child molester.
Greg May is a Republican businessman who appeared in an add supporting Gov. Mike Bevin. The ad came from the Republican Governors Association who took it down when local news asked about including a man who had been accused of sexual harassment and retalian. A woman on the legislative staff filed a complaint noting that she even changed her movement so she could avoid him and he would seek her out. He grew more insistent, trying to speak to her in public and calling her several times a day.
