Michael S. Ritchason is the Lead Pastor of Riverside Community Church and was elected to the City Council of Pekin, Illinois. He is also a former elementary school teacher. He was recently arrested for crimes against a juvenile, specifically disseminating harmful materials to a juvenile.
James Ashley Taylor was elected to the Fort Pierce County Commission in 2024. In August, 2024, a mother in Evanston, Illinois, contacted local police to report than an adult man was carrying on inappropriate chats with her thirteen-year-old daughter and had sent nude pictures of himself. The conversations began when she was just twelve.
arl DeMaio is a Republican member of the California Assembly. Previously he was a member of the San Diego City Council and an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor. He ran for Congress in 2014 and 2020. In 2024 he ran for California Assembly and won. Three people have claimed to have witnessed him masturbating, nonconsensual sexual displays. Two have claimed he sexually harassed
Kurt W. Schenk was a city councilman for Coatesville, Pennsylvania as well as pastor of a local church. A local blogger wrote up a history of his public activities wondering why local media were not covering his arrest for sexually assaulting a woman who is intellectually disabled.
Elgene Gary is a former police officer and city councilor in Grand Isle, Louisiana. He is also a former member of the Grand Isle Port Commission. In May, 2025, he was convicted of sexually abusing two children, one of them nearly forty years ago.
Daniel James Halloran served on the New York City Council as a Republican representing Queens for three years. He was elected in 2010 and arrested in 2013 for bribery and fraud, and was caught in a payoff scheme by FBI officers he thought were developers. He was arrested in 2025 for possession of child sexual abuse material.
In October, 2024, he was indicted for two counts of production and one count of possession of child sexual abuse material. According to the indictment, he enticed a 17-year-old boy to engage in sexually explicit conduct that he photographed and recorded.
Robert Lookingbill is a Town Commissioner of Thurmont, Maryland. He remains listed as a commissioner despite his April arrest for sexual abuse of a minor. According to the Sheriff’s Office he is alleged to have inappropriately touched a child on the bus he was driving.
Charles Oswald Lake was a Lake Alfred City Commissioner at the time of his arrest in April, 2024. He is also a former Lake Alfred Mayor. He has resigned since his arrest after a search warrant turned up more than 300 images of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Additional investigation added another 2896 charges.
He lost his job on the Claremont police force after he was investigated for an inappropriate relastionship with a sixteen-year-old girl that started when she was fifteen. He had been seeing the girl for months, claiming she was a drug informant, though he never provided any information from her. While there is no evidence of him molesting her, the girl said they were planning to have sex when she turned seventeen. He was ordered not to contact her, but ignored the order. He was suspended.
