According to 4029 News, “The man said Hartman played mind games and manipulated him into sex because Hartman knew the man didn’t have anywhere else to go. He said he felt trapped because he was on probation. He said he was afraid Hartman could call the bail bondsman and have his bond revoked.”

Sexual Battery

Matt Schlapp is the Chair of the American Conservative Union that hosts the CPAC conference. He also chairs the political action committee. In 2022, a staffer on the Herschel Walker campaign accused him of sexual battery by groping him while he drove Schlapp while Schlapp was in Georgia for the campaign.

Robert Shiflet was a youth pastor in Denton, Texas, and in Little Rock, Arkansas. He took groups of kids on camping trips, crossing state lines. While camping, he isolated one of the children and sexually assaulted here. Another was assaulted on the field trip bus.

David Farren was the lead pastor of Anchor Church in Texarkana when he was arrested for crimes he committed as youth pastor at Heritage Baptist Church, also in Texarkana. Two women came forward to report they were raped by him when they attended his youth ministry classes.

Josh Duggar is one of the famed Duggar family who had a reality show on The Learning Channel called 19 Kids and Counting. Duggar also worked for the Family Research Council, a sanctimonious anti-gay organization. He molested five girls and his parents knew and covered it up, even though some of those he molested were his sisters. Even though he knew his own son was a molester, Jim Bob Duggar, his father, said “rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.”

Sexual Misconduct

Clint Reed was the Arkansas Republican Party director before he was hired by Sen. Mark Rubio as his Chief of Staff for sexual misconduct. Rubio was made aware of the misconduct, did an investigation with his general counsel, found there were some threats of withholding employment benefits and improper conduct between a supervisor and subordinates. Reed was fired the next day.
