Robert Shiflet was a youth pastor in Denton, Texas, and in Little Rock, Arkansas. He took groups of kids on camping trips, crossing state lines. While camping, he isolated one of the children and sexually assaulted here. Another was assaulted on the field trip bus.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 33 months which was less than it was supposed to be thanks to a math error. However, once he accepted that plea, they had to stick to it. But then, he got early release. If he spent 33 months, he would not be released until next year.
