Tony Gonzales is a U.S. representative from Texas. He had a affair with his aide Regina Santos-Aviles despite both of them being married. Consensual affairs between adults, whether adulterous or not, do not make someone a predator. An affair with an employee, however, is sexual misconduct and sexual harassment. He gave her a raise after the affair began meaning she earned thousands more than her colleagues. Moreover, how consensual is an affair when it’s with one’s boss?
Texts released by her husband show him demanding intimate pictures, asking for intimate sexual details and preferences, and being demanding despite her refusal and claims that he was going too far.
Her husband is no prize either. When he learned of the affair, he exposed her texts and had an affair with her best friend. Gonzalez, showing his character, said she killed herself because her husband was gay and having an affair with her best friend.
As to what sort of responsibility Gonzales may take, he said, “I have reconciled with my wife, Angel. I’ve asked God to forgive me, which he has. And my faith is as strong as ever.”
However, after being forced into a runoff in the primary, he decided not to run for re-election.

That’s the trouble with the “born agains” as they think the very act of being born again and accepting christ as their saviour means NOTHING THEY DO FROM THERE ON IN WILL STOP THEM GETTING A BERTH IN HEAVEN! All they have to do is say “gee, god, I’m really sorry” and that’s it! They are then free to do whatever they like, be as vile as the want, “sin” anytime they feel like it because they have been “saved” from going to hell and just have to admit they did bad things. It’s the most preposterous teaching anyone has ever come up with to attract people to that religion- bringing all their money with them to pay for “salvation”
