Enticing a Minor, Sexual Abuse

Rachel Renee Clement, 29, taught science at Henderson County High School in Henderson, Kentucky. On June 23, 2026, Henderson Police arrested her after an investigation at the school itself.

THE CASE

Henderson Police charged Clement with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities, first-degree sexual abuse, and tampering with physical evidence.

The alleged misconduct involved a student at the high school where she taught. Neither the student’s age nor gender has been made public in reporting on the case.

Clement was arraigned in Henderson County Circuit Court and has since bonded out of jail. We found no reporting on an indictment, plea, or trial date in the four months since her arrest, and Kentucky’s KCOJ/CourtNet court lookup system is gated behind a guest login and CAPTCHA that we don’t attempt to bypass. If you have access to Henderson County Circuit Court records and can confirm the case’s current status, let us know.

POLITICAL AFFILIATION

Kentucky’s voter file confirms Rachel Renee Clement has been registered as a Republican in Henderson County since November 28, 2018.

LOCAL OFFICIALS

Henderson County Sheriff Chip Stauffer, a Republican, won his seat in 2022. As of this case, Henderson County Judge-Executive Brad Schneider, also a Republican, was the sitting county executive, though he lost his May 2026 primary and will be succeeded by whoever wins the November 2026 general election.

Not a drag queen, not some teacher the right warns you about pushing an agenda, not a DEI hire. A science teacher in a deep-red Kentucky county, registered Republican for nearly eight years before this. What a shame.
