Ryan Utterback is an anti-gay activist and advocate for banning books. He was featured on rightwing media until he was arrested for distributing pornography to a minor and child molestation. He was also charged with domestic assault. Three different incidents with children are described in the police probable cause statement.
UPDATE: On May 19, 2025, he pleaded guilty to two lesser charges in a deal that means he will spend no time in jail. He pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual abuse and second-degree harassment. He was sentenced to one year in prison but the sentence is suspended if he completes his two year parole with no repeat offense.
