Child Sex Abuse
WCMH in Columbus, Ohio reports a state representative was stripped from all his committee assignments following allegations of child sex abuse, but then restored shortly after in 2025.
Documents obtained from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations date to 2023, when the minor alleged Rep. Rodney Creech (R-West Alexandria) was inappropriate toward her. The case was ultimately dismissed, and no charges were filed.
Texts show the minor complaining that Creech was rubbing her legs, grabbing her waist and that she was “put to tears” from being so uncomfortable around Creech.

The investigation also alleges that Creech “climbed into bed with her,” only wearing his underwear, while having an erection. In a witness’s recount, they recall that Creech admitted to getting into bed with the minor but denied having an erection.
State Rep. Rodney Creech ended up defeating former Rep. J. Todd Smith 58-42 in a recent Ohio House District 40 GOP primary — 9 months after a BCI probe into alleged sexual misconduct with a minor relative.
BCI began investigating the case in late 2023, months after the alleged incident occurred, because of a conflict of interest between Creech and several local sheriffs.

The Clark County Prosecutors Office declined in October 2024 to escalate the investigation any further. At the time, Prosecutor Daniel Driscoll wrote in a letter to BCI that he believed Creech’s “behavior during the time of the investigation was concerning.”
“However, the evidence falls short of the threshold needed for prosecution,” Driscoll wrote. “At this point, I consider the case closed.”
Apparently a detailed account of the incident by the victim and text messages qualify for a quick investigation dismissal in Clark County, Ohio. Something in Driscoll’s eyes tells us he isn’t interested in protecting little girls from sex predators as we seen with other conservative prosecutors.

Creech is linked to House Bill 693, the “Affirming Families First Act,” which Click cosponsored alongside state Rep. Josh Williams (R-Sylvania). The bill would write a statutory definition of “parental alienation” into Ohio law — the same framework Creech invoked publicly to dismiss his own accuser.

A super PAC funded by the parent company of online sports betting giant DraftKings ran Facebook ads and sent campaign mailers boosting Creech in the closing weeks of the primary. One mailer featured a photograph of a young girl. Creech’s daughter said the group used family photos of children Creech “has not contacted or seen in years.”

This case stinks of good old boys protecting one another leaving a diarrhea-like trail of corruption behind in Ohio for their voters to roll around in. Sheriffs process the evidence, prosecutors review the evidence. Both public officials do not pass our sniff test because the bar was set way low in the Republican party regarding not prosecuting sex crimes, while overwhelmingly becoming the perpetrator as we have heavily documented on this blog.
