Fredrick Piccolo, Jr. was once Governor Ron DeSantis’s chief spokesperson but lost that position for downplaying COVID deaths. He worked as a campaign manager for Rep. Jackie Toledo, but was sued by her for sending for what she described as “unwanted, unsolicited, inappropriate and grossly offensive” text messages.
He was subsequently hired by New College of Florida as a Communications Director. He was arrested in May 2025 for indecent exposure.
Incredibly, he had been charged with the same offense three times before in Sarasota County where he exposed himself to retail store clerks. The Sarasota Sheriff filed non-arrest affidavits so there were no fingerprints or arrest record, so these incidents did not show up on a routine background check.
His father blamed his recent flashing on being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. It is true that some of the medicines prescribed for Parkinson’s can cause hypersexuality and lack of impulse control.
