John Rose is a Tennessee Congressman who has, so far as is known, not broken any laws, however, since he decided to join in the persecution of LGBTIQA people and call them groomers, it is only fair to consider his grooming of his own wife.
He opposed the confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson, criticizing her for being soft on pedophiles.
Chelsea Doss was a Future Farmers of America (FFA) leader. She won several awards and was the 2007-2008 FFA Tennessee state president. She was a highly accomplished with a record of leadership and success.
John Rose was actively involved in FFA as an advisor and sponsor. He credited FFA with much of his success in life. It is impossible to imagine they did not meet.
As soon as she started college, they began dating and were married before her graduation. He was also on the board of her college. He was 45 at the time, more than twice her age. He is the only person she dated. They seem happy. They have two children.
But what he did was grooming. If a gay man did this with a college student, he would call it grooming.
