John Giarrusso III is a Seabrook, New Hampshire police officer. He was arrested in February by police in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and charged with possession of child sexual abuse images, dissemination of visual material of a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct and disseminating obscene matter to a minor. He is on unpaid leave. As a police officer he participated in fundraising for an organization founded to help sexually abused children.
After receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police began investigating Giarusso whose e-mail was linked to a Kik account with his name and birth date. Uploaded selfies also were identified as Giarusso.
On the Kik account, he bragged that girls called him Officer Sexy, and engaged in conversations about having sex with other Kik users family members, including children and stepchildren. He is also accused of uploading several videos of children being sexually abused and of soliciting minors.
