Victor Franklin is a Wysox, Pennsylvania, Township Supervisor. He remains a town supervisor despite his arraignment on charges of possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material on May 1st. They have removed his picture, though.
As most often happens with Child Sexual Abuse Material cases, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children passed on a tip that an IP address had downloaded suspect material. Police subpoenaed a service provider to get the name of the account with that IP address, in this case Franklin’s hardware store.
When police interviewed him, he denied downloading material though he also said no one else can use his computer. He denied knowing much about computers. Police took the hard drive and searching it, they found Child Sexual Abuse Material.
He was charged with ten counts of viewing or possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material.
