Jonathan High was a deacon at Antioch Revival Church in Perry, Florida, until his arrest for secretly recording two boys, ten and eleven, engaging in sex acts in the church bathroom. He was caught when Verizon reported a tip, in August 2021, that a cloud storage accounts seemed to have uploaded child sex abuse material. They did a search and found multiple videos on his phone. They also discovered that he had produced the CSAM himself.
High pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography and, in October, 2022, was convicted in a bench trial of two counts of use of a child to produce child pornography. He was sentenced in January, 2023, to twenty-two years in prison.
