Andy Santana was the campaign manager of mayoral candidate Alex Otaola, a Cuban influencer who unsuccessfully challenged current Mayor Daniella Levine Cava in the Republican primary.
He has been charged with rape of a child, a boy of seventeen. The teenager reported to police that Santana kissed him and groped him in May, their interactions escalating to oral and anal sex. He produced pictures and video to back up his allegations. Police said there was evidence for several charges but they could only charge incidents that happened in their jurisdiction.
