Joshua Harris was a deputy sheriff in Wibaux County, Montana. In November, 2022, he was arrested and charged with eight counts of incest, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of sexual intercourse without consent. In a plea agreement, he pled guilty to two counts of incest with two children under the age of sixteen and one count of sexual intercourse without consent with one child under sixteen.
He admitted to incest with three young girls several times over eight years. He began when one of them was eight years old.
His sentencing is in October 2023. The state is asking for 100 years, with eighty suspended. That would mean twenty years without parole.
