995: Richard E. Jacklin

Richard E. Jacklin was an Illinois Catholic priest at St. Mary Immaculate Parish whose bulletins are full of denunciations of secular and liberal government. He was arrested in 2017 after a nurse walked in and caught him performing oral sex on a patient. He argued in his defense that the patient forced him to do it. The patient was partially paralyzed and had an IQ of 47.

994: Thomas Gilman Hartman

According to 4029 News, “The man said Hartman played mind games and manipulated him into sex because Hartman knew the man didn’t have anywhere else to go. He said he felt trapped because he was on probation. He said he was afraid Hartman could call the bail bondsman and have his bond revoked.”

991: Gerald Fairbanks

Gerald Fairbanks was an Ada County Deputy for twenty years until he retired in 2011. Boise is in Ada County. In December 2022, he was arrested and charged with several counts of child sex abuse. The allegations involve two different children, both of whom were under twelve during the time they were allegedly abused.

983: Brian Stout

Brian Stout is a Republican Representative in the Oregon House. He ran for District 31 in 2018 and 2020 but lost to Democrat Brad Witt. After redistricting, the district was more Republican and he won in 2022 when Witt ran in a different district. However, one of his campaign volunteers alleged her sexually assaulted and threatened her and sought a protective order that was granted.

979: Rafael Cuevas

Rafael Cuevas was the pastor of Temple of Prayer Assembly of God church, a church his father built with his own hands. In 2021, he was arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child under the age of twelve from 2017 to 2020. His official charges were two counts of sexual battery and six counts of lewd and lascivious molestation against a victim under 12 years old.

978: Joseph Kade Abbott

Abbott was arrested in North Carolina in January, 2023, and brought to Blount County, Tennessee, for arraignment. The family originally went to the police in June. He was arrested for sexually abusing a fourteen-year-old girl. The charge of sexual battery by an authority figure is used against defendants who use their job or legal status to take advantage of their victim, or have parental or custodial authority.

973: Rudy Giuliani

He’s always been a creep, marrying his cousin, cheating on his wife, sexually harassing women. There’s an infamous scene in the second Borat movie. In January 2023, he was sued by a longtime employee who accused his of abuse of power, sexual assault and sexual harassment. According to her, he demanded sexual favors as part of her job. Of course, these allegations were overshadowed by her information about selling pardons.

966: Mark Aaron Griffin

Mark Aaron Griffin was a Messianic Rabbi in Saginaw, Texas. Messianic Judaism is a syncretic form of evangelical Christianity that incorporates some elements of Judaism. The call themselves Jews, but that is not accepted by mainstream Jews. After he was charged with sexual assault, the Texas school board that banned Anne Frank book invited him to open their meeting with prayer.

He was charged with abusing his influence as a “rabbi” to pressure a woman into consensual and nonconsensual sex. He told her she was God’s gift to him and that she would be his “second wife.” When she told him no, he assaulted her.

He reached a plea deal, pleading guilty to indecent assault and was given two years deferred adjudication which means after two years, if he doesn’t offend again, he will have no conviction on his record. He and his lawyers are claiming he was vindicated by this plea deal.

958: Bradley Wayne Dixon

Bradley Wayne Dixon was the dorm director at San Marcos Baptist Academy. In 2019, he was convicted of sexually abusing students. It took the jury five hours to convict him of two charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, one charge of sexual performance by a child and four counts of indecency with a child.

His lawyer, even after the conviction, said that the boys were lying to be able to sue. He was convicted in 2000 and is serving a 95 year sentence.

957: Shane Flournoy

Shane Flournoy was a dorm supervisor at the Texas School for the Deaf. He was arrested for sexually abusing a 15-year-old student. The student told police Flournoy offered him $200 to expose himself. Then, he touched the student. This came out when he confessed to his minister that he had sexually abused a boy. The minister went to the police. Flournoy also told the police he had confessed to his minister. He said he paid the boy about $1000 to keep quiet.
